Julia Holden, one of New Zealand’s prolific professional story boarders, and Elam School of Fine Art’s painting graduates, has an amazing new work ’38 days’ on at No Vacancy.

Julia currently resides in Christchurch following her intensive post-grad study at Monash University.

No Vacancy invited her back this winter for a solo show at the Fed Square Project space.  Embracing the divide between analogue process and digital age, her animations are a testament to a prolific workflow and intense focus. You will be captivated by the clever simplicity of her works, each with a surreal voyeurism and banal familiarity.

’38 days’ is on show until 4th August.
